Meet the person behind Fine Line Studio

A little idea, a big dose of creativity, and a love of memories worth keeping.

Hi, I'm Barbro!

I was born and raised in Norway, but today I live on a disused farm in North Jutland with my partner Jan.

By day, I work full-time in the North Sea, but when I have free time, I love being creative. I have always enjoyed creating things myself, whether it involves design, new ideas, or projects on our old farm.

Fine Line Studio is my creative space and a project that I am building from the ground up because I am truly passionate about it.

How did Fine Line Studio start?

It all actually began with a look back at my own schoolbooks from childhood.

I was leafing through old memories and thinking about how lovely it is to be able to look back on that time. After a little research, I discovered that the selection of personalized yearbooks was actually quite limited.

And then the ideas began to take shape!

I had previously designed and sold invitations, so creative work was not new to me. The transition to designing books therefore felt completely natural.

The opportunity to personalize the books with names and other details, combined with the fact that they could be produced locally to order, became what truly made the idea possible.

Since then, I have realized that it is not only yearbooks that are missing. There are so many small and large events in life that deserve their very own memory book.

And so Fine Line Studio grows slowly and steadily, one idea and one book at a time.

Books with personality and room for memories

For me, Fine Line Studio is about more than just beautiful book covers.

I love the whole process from the first idea to the finished design. Finding the right colors, creating different looks, and thinking about how the books will be used.

My wish is to create personal books that are both beautiful to have on display and lovely to take out again many years later.

Books that will be filled with pictures, little stories, greetings, and memories from life.

At the same time, it is very important to me that the books are only produced when they are ordered, and that production takes place locally whenever possible.

A little dog with a big meaning

Perhaps you have noticed the little dog in the Fine Line Studio logo?

That is Theo, my beloved little dog, who unfortunately lost his battle with cancer.

Theo was my little baby and a very special part of my life. Therefore, it felt natural that he should have his own place in Fine Line Studio.

In this way, he is still with me in what I create, and follows along on all the small and large adventures that Fine Line Studio brings.

Thank you for stopping by!

Fine Line Studio is still under development, and I have plenty of ideas for new books and designs.

Something I love most of all is the opportunity to constantly create something new and hopefully something that will have a special meaning for others.

Thank you for wanting to take a look and support my little creative universe.

Warm regards

Barbro
